Course List

PASMA Work at Height (Essentials)

This is a theory based course covering all types of working at height; the course is aimed at persons new to working at height or persons who need a broad overview.

IRATA International ROPE ACCESS course – 5 days

The course is run to any of the three levels, in full accordance with the IRATA TACS (Training, Assessment and Certification Scheme)

The course covers applicable legislation, the theory of fall factors, shock-loads and damages caused in the event of a fall and care and inspection techniques of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). All IRATA training courses have a mandatory independent assessment and successful candidates receive an internationally recognized qualification.

FIRST AID IN THE WORKPLACE

This course is designed for Managers and Supervisors or persons of responsibility.

​This course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace. The course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

LEADING EDGE TRAINING

This is a course for anyone working at height using personal fall protection harnesses, lanyards or fall arrest blocks. It covers pre-use inspection and safe use of products for use in work restraint and fall arrest systems. It also covers the theory and practical of setting up temporary horizontal safety lines and using adjustable lanyards from them.

IIPAF 3a Operator Training

This Ipaf operator course is for users of 'Mobile Vertical' Machines(commonly known as Scissor Lifts). These machines are driven in to the work location and will elevate without the need legs. These machines can be driven whilst elevated.

IIPAF 3b Operator Training

This Ipaf operator course is for users of 'Mobile Boom' machines (commonly known as Cherry Pickers). This machine is driven to its place of work, will elevate without the use of legs and can also be driven whilst elevated.

IPAF MEWP’s for Managers

This course is designed for Managers and Supervisors who are involved in the planning and supervision of work involving MEWP’s. The course covers risk assessment and method statement writing, rescue plans, hazards and responsibilities.

IManual Handling Training

This Course is designed for any person(s) who,

as part of their working duties,are involved in the moving of objects by manual force whether lifting, pulling, pushing or setting down. The course covers correct lifting techniques, risk assessment, hazardous loads, harmful effects or incorrect lifting, regulations, recommended weights and potential hazards.
